Who qualifies as a WCPUM retiree?
Any worker — pastor, teacher, healthcare professional, or office staff — who has completed the required years of denominational service within the Western Conference Philippine Union Mission and has been officially placed on the retirement roll.
How do I apply for retirement benefits?
Submit your application through the WCPUM Treasury or HR department, along with proof of service records and required identification. The retiree office can walk you through the steps and forms.
When are retirement allowances released?
Allowances are processed on a regular monthly schedule. Specific release dates and holiday adjustments are announced through the retiree mailing list and on this website.
What happens if my spouse passes away, or if I do?
Surviving spouse benefits continue, subject to denominational policy. The retiree office will assist the family with paperwork, pastoral support, and any bereavement assistance available.
How do I update my address, bank details, or beneficiary?
Contact the retiree office directly by phone or email, or visit the WCPUM office in person. Updates require written confirmation and valid identification for your protection.
Are there gatherings for retirees?
Yes. Quarterly fellowship meetings and an annual retiree convocation are held each year. Dates are posted under Events and sent to retirees on record.
Who do I contact if I need pastoral care or a visit?
Reach out through the contact form below or call the retiree office directly. We coordinate visits with the nearest local church and can arrange phone or in-person prayer at your request.
Is medical assistance available?
Yes. WCPUM provides medical support for retirees within the framework of denominational policy. Specific coverage and process are explained by the Treasury department on request.
